Root folder and sub folder difference

At 3:20 teacher called the article folder as root folder and sub folder. So they are the same? Just different names?

So the article folder in the video is a sub folder to which folder?

The "root" folder is the folder at the top level of the server's file system. You can generally reference a file in the root folder by putting a slash ("/") in front of the file name. Example: "/index.html".

A "sub-folder" is one that is inside another folder. You typically reference a file in a sub-folder by naming both the sub-folder and the file name with a slash in between. Example: "css/styles.css".
