What is wrong with my code?

method.rb
def mod(a, b)
  #write your code here
  puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is c."
  return c = a % b
end

1 Answer

Some things can not work in that code. First you have to calculate c before you put it in your string. And like is just said the c variable should be part of the string like it is said by the challange. Also you have to return the sentence and not "put" it... (a common mistake in these challanges...return != print/put/write or what ever)

I dont really know a lot of Ruby, but that are some mistakes I can see :)

Solution:

def mod(a, b)

   c = a % b
  return "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{c}."

end
