11,961 PointsRuby Hash Tutorials outside of teamtreehouse?
I was buzzing by Ruby until I came to hashes. I am having some serious issues with getting this concept. Does anyone know of any awesome sites that delve a little deeper or can explain them in a different way? I think Jason is awesome and a fantastic teacher but I am just..not...getting....it.

21,598 PointsWhat exactly do You not understand? If You have any questions just shoot them up. Also if You want to learn Ruby You should tackle other courses too. The more the better. Codeacademy and Rubymonk would be great places to look into, they are free and they make You type code all the time.

Courses Plus Student 26,868 PointsI think this sitepoint tutorial on Hash is pretty good, though I'm not sure it's as beginner-friendly as Jason's lectures.
Perhaps you can ask here what you don't understand about Ruby's Hash?

11,961 PointsThank you very much William. I will check it out.
The forum is a fantastic place but at this point with hashes, I don't know enough about the subject to come up with a properly worded question. The best I can do is come up with "huh?" which isn't going to fly. I guess I can get some points for honesty.
Thanks again for the site.

11,961 PointsThank you Luke. I am doing Code School as well for their course (just started yesterday) and things are starting to click for hashes. I have been to Codecademy but never Rubymonk. I will have to check that out. Thank you for your reply.
