This course should be in the Ruby track instead of the ODOT course which is all about rspec and test-driven-development and is incomprehensible while this course is coherent, well organized, and the content is much more appropriate. That ODOT course is mis-classified as a beginner course and should come way after Build a Simple Ruby Application if at all. Just say'n

36,441 PointsIt was in the old Ruby track. But then Rails 4 came out and treebook caused too many problems for people who had the newest version. I was one of those people and then I spent a few months helping other students on this forum with this specific problem - the differences between Rails 3. and 4+. I agree it should be refreshed and that Odot is not the best course for beginners.

7,105 PointsI really agree, "Odot" was too much too soon. I really like this course, I just use RVM to use ruby 1.9.3 and rails 3.2, and it's a really smooth learning experience.
