searching for a better way to add checkmarks to friends

Hi everyone, so as Ben have sayed, the current implementation won't be efficient in case we have an important number of users... I was thinking about creating a model whith the username value and a boolean isChecked which is setted at the moment of retrieving the user. Then the adapter will receive a list of users model and the check marks will be set after checking the value of isChecked. It's just an idea, i'm not sure it's the best one, tha's why i'm looking for it here.
