Seeking students to QA our updated Ruby Basics course!

We're getting ready to release an updated version of our Ruby Basics course. Our goal is to make it easier than ever for students to learn to program with Ruby. We need your help to make the experience as smooth as possible for new students!

We're preparing for QA now, and we need a few participants to try the course out and e-mail us feedback. If you're interested, click here to e-mail me within the next 24 hours, and we'll get you early access. Then we'll send you another e-mail requesting feedback before we roll the course out. Your responses will be used to improve the learning experience for the students that come after you. Thanks as always for learning with Treehouse!

Jay, please write a Head First Rails book. Your Ruby one was excellent and every Ruby student here should read it!

Hey Jay McGavren I am currently in the Loops section of the Learn Ruby course, which is not very far into the course, but now I see the new course is released. Not sure If I should switch and start fresh - because I'm assuming you updated the course for a reason?

Jean Malan The update to the Learn Ruby track was just to include the updated Ruby Basics course instead of the old Ruby Basics. If you switch, I believe the site will recommend you take the updated Ruby Basics course (which is actually a good idea) before you proceed with the rest of the track.

All the other courses in the Learn Ruby track will remain the same (although a couple will be removed as they are now redundant), and your work on those courses previously should count toward your progress through the updated Learn Ruby track.
