Select the image and set it to be a block element.

what is it I'm not getting? because it says I didn't set the display to block. also note i think that # is for class which was put on the html for the img.

i know the inline-block junk is wrong i just have yet to change it back to not being there and that too was wrong. also "#profile-photo img" in any variation is wrong too.

You're right about inline-block not being the correct value. The instructions asked for block.

But the main issue is the selector. When selecting a class, the class name should be preceded by a period ("."). Putting a hash mark ("#") in front of a name creates an ID selector instead.
