Python Python Collections (Retired) Dictionaries String Formatting with Dictionaries

Sentences Repeating

What am i doing wrong? When I work on this challenge in Workspaces, I get a result of multiple lists added to the final requested list. The output is not what is requested.

I thought my code would go dictionary after dictionary in the dicts list and append the formatted string to my new list... But that's not what I get. Can someone help, please?

strings.py
dicts = [
    {'name': 'Michelangelo',
     'food': 'PIZZA'},
    {'name': 'Garfield',
     'food': 'lasanga'},
    {'name': 'Walter',
     'food': 'pancakes'},
    {'name': 'Galactus',
     'food': 'worlds'}
]

string = "Hi, I'm {name} and I love to eat {food}!"

def string_factory(dicts, string):
    strung = []
    for dicto in dicts:
        strung.append(string.format(**dicto))
        return strung

string_factory(dicts, string)

Your return statement is inside your for loop. Move it out and you are good. :)

Keep up the great work!

Thank you very much Nathan! I hadn't caught that.
