3,510 Pointsset new variable to true if hash key method `has_key` returns true
not sure what you all are looking for for the question "Using the has_key? method, check if the hash variable has a key called "calories". If it does, set a new variable called food to true." the code is as follows
hash = { "name" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "calories" => 100 } hash.has_key?("calories")
but where i get confused is what you want with me setting a new variable of food to true, and how i should go about that. I tried
food == {"calories"=>100}
but that did not work.
hash = { "name" => "Bread", "quantity" => 1, "calories" => 100 }
hash.has_key?("calories")
food == {"calories"=>100}
