set the 'class' attribute of the <p> element to "main-pg".

I keep getting this wrong and i don't know why

In the <p> element or tag is where you declare the class attribute. <p class= here is the code below.

<p class="main-pg">My amazing website</p>

you declare the class inside the "<p>" tag, it should look something like this:

<p class="main-pg"> my amazing website </p>
