HTML How to Make a Website Customizing Colors and Fonts Write Hexadecimal Colors

Set the color of paragraphs to black using a hexadecimal value.

hello, what's the code for this?

css/main.css
a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

#logo {
  text-align: center;
  margin: 0;
}

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
}

body {
  background-color: #000000;
color: #999;
}

You have to target the Paragraph element in your css like so:

p { color: #000; }

Hi Anne, The color spectrum in Hexadecimals goes from Black (#00000) to White(#FFFFFF). Also they can be written as #000 (Black) and #FFF(White). The three letter combinations are only possible if there is a sequence. for eg. #44FF00 can be written as #4F0. While #4403AA has to be written explicitly as #4403AA as the 03 segment is not identical.

As for your question, target the paragraph element first using the p type selector, and set color to black like below

p {
     color: #000;
}
