sharing my website

HI! I'd like to share my website with family members, but when i open it in workspaces it gives me "port-80" etc. When i share this link they can't open it because "workspaces is unavailable..." how do i share it?

Try typing it in directly. This is my URL from my site http://port-80-21vabq2yrh.treehouse-app.com/. A link won't work because you need a domain name and host to make the site live. when I put this URL into my browser my site pops up. Hope this helps. Melissa

I don't think sharing directly from the workspace will work since workspaces are connected to an account of yours.

If you own a domain hosting you could add it there and send a link. But if you want to share live website you could choose an alternate route like team viewer or something similar.

But to be globally on the internet for uses to see you will need to get some domain hosting
