I don't understand.

Hi there. There are 2 things wrong with your code: The loop should only skip that item if it's index 0 is 'a'. Also, your print(item) should be in an else block because the item should only be printed if its index 0 is not 'a'.

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
      if item[0] == "a": #specify and index by putting it in square brackets
        continue
      else:
        print(item)
