Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Slices Slice Functions

Slices.py - I was able to replicate the desired output in Workspace but not sure what's problem in executing it internal

def first_4(arg1): return arg1[0:4]

def first_and_last_4(arg2): map_all = arg2[0:4] + arg2[-4:] return map_all

def odds(arg3): return arg3[1::2]

def reverse_evens(arg4): reverse_arg4 = arg4[::-1] return reverse_arg4[::2]

slices.py
def first_4(arg1):
    return arg1[0:4]

def first_and_last_4(arg2):
    map_all = arg2[0:4] + arg2[-4:]
    return map_all

def odds(arg3):
    return arg3[1::2]

Your solution only works when the number of items is odd. When the list has an even number it returns "reverse odds" instead.

You had a good idea, but try selecting the even indexes first and then reversing them.
