Having problems with the videos lately. The videos are slow and keeps on pausing every now and then.
I checked my internet connection and everything is well. Checked on YouTube as well and the videos there are running up to speed.
Anybody encountering the same problem?

8,200 PointsMine occasionally does similar, pauses or stutters. I see these more after 5:00PM EST, maybe there are more users on the site at that time?
I usually leave the video on pause and let it buffer for a couple minutes while I read some related documentation to the course I am taking (often good stuff found in the Teacher's Notes) and then return to watch the video with no issues.

1,843 PointsYes, I have been having the same problems for the past few weeks. It's getting to the point where I can't even let something load and then watch it later. I don't know if I can take this anymore! Disappointed that something I have a paid membership to is so slow, meanwhile, all other video streaming works just fine.

Courses Plus Student 25,343 PointsThanks guys for your response. TeamTreehouse support group emailed me and said that if we encounter that same problem we can click the clock icon at the bottom of the video and adjust the speed according to our desire.
That might do the trick.

8,200 PointsFrancis Isberto Speeding up the video playback doesn't seem to be a good solution to the problem for me, contrary to the email advice you received. It actually compounds the problem if the video isn't fully buffered.

8,846 PointsHi! I have not had this problem lately. Did you check to make sure the speed controls of the video were set to normal? Other than that, I would always try the tried and true method of restarting your browser/computer. Cheers!
