I got frustrated with the orginal directions and did this thinking it may be a tad easier

7,705 PointsIn fact in this exercise, you have to use prompt to get data from an hypothetical user, store it in a variable like you did and then manipulate the DOM to display it.
In pseudo-code it would something like
// get the data from the user (i.e. prompt) // store it into variable //manipulate DOM
