So why do I keep getting an error when I'm pretty sure i'm linking to the next pages....

can anyone help me on this.....

Hi Crayton - I believe the error you are getting is because you have placed the nav links in the wrong part of the html, they need to come after the h1 and h2 links - try the below:

Pardon me, Sam (Baines). I didn't mean to offer a redundant answer to Crayton's question after yours. I wrote my answer 1 minute after Crayton posted but after my Answer posted the formatting was wrong and the tags were missing, so I edited my Answer, which updated the submission time a few minutes after your correct Answer.

Hello Crayton, Your first link reference, below the header tag, is not closed. Try inserting an a closing tag before the nav tag, like this:

<a href="index.html"> (Text goes here) </a>
        <nav>

You should also insert some text in between the a tags...something for the user to click on to link to the page called out in the href.
