So you don't use POST to send form information to the server to be stored? So you use GET? That does not compute with me

One of the questions asks when you would use POST. The other answers where correct except for using POST to send information to the server. I failed that question everytime.

hi David Schreiter , I guess you're referring to the question When should you use the POST HTTP method with AJAX? in that quiz?

in general you're of course right that POST can also be used to send a form. however let's look at the full answer to figure out why it's not accepted then: Everytime you submit information from a form.

the deal-breaker here is the everytime - because while POST is a valid way to send, it's NOT always the right choice.

Thanks Alex. I get it. I'm usually good about not falling for those absolute qualifiers in multiple choice questions. Everytime a sentence begins with everytime it is false ;)
