2,411 Points**[SOLVED]** Problem with my script tags
The error message says that I did something wrong but it looks right to me. I have included <script> at the beginning and the end of my code yet it doesn't seem to accept it. What is wrong with what I have done?
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
<title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>
<script>
alert("Does this even work");
<script>
</body>
</html>
MODERATOR EDIT: Appended "Solved" to Post title as per OP's comment

2,411 PointsNevermind. I figured it out. I didn't add the "/" mark in the closing <script> tag. That's why it wasn't working.
