Some differences between the logical operators "or" and "||", or "and" and "&&"?

There are advantages or some features?

&& has higher operator precedence than AND.

Some example for AND operator:

$value = true AND false;
//is the same as:
($value = true) AND false;
//so $value will be equal to TRUE

Eexample for && operator:

$value = true && false;
//is the same as:
$value = (true AND false);
//here $value will be equal to FALSE

This is the basic difference. Same for OR nad || operators.
