what am i doing wrong?

banana.py
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}."
display_menu = sundaes.split(';')
menu.format(display_menu)

Oops, it said join the flavors back together to create the display menu, you split them once again. You should be aiming for something looking similar to this:

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
#here we split available into a list with the splitting happening at the ';'
display_menu = ', '.join(sundaes)
#and here we join sundaes back together into a string, but this time with ', ' separating them and not ';'
menu = 'Our available flavors are: {}.'.format(display_menu)
#and here we print them out with format
