Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Creating the Screen Layout Setting Colors

stage 2 challenge 1

The current layout has black text on a white background. Let's change the text color to be white. You will need to add the android:textColor attribute, and copy/paste the Android white value from the RelativeLayout's android:background attribute.

The textColor property is outside of the TextView Tag, which ends with "/>"

android:textSize="72sp" />
   android:textColor ="@android:color/white" >

Please ensure that this property is inside the Tag like this:

was stuck there only to realize that l was using small caps instead of UpperCase

In case anyone else is still stuck with this, make sure that 'textColor' has a capital 'C'. Leaving that out will give you the error "Bummer! Don't forget to add the 'android:textColor' attribute to the TextView!" which isn't very informative.
