Stage 3 creating html content error

Not sure why I am getting an error. I think I am missing something very simple but I can't figure it out!

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <nav>
          <ul></ul>
        </nav>
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
    </header>
    <section></section>
    <footer>
      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>

Hi David,

Can you post the error you're getting please?

Thanks

-Rich

They want the nav and ul to come after the a element, not within in it. Should look like this:

<header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul></ul>
      </nav>
    </header>

I believe it is because you have your nav element inside the anchor. Move your nav element after the /a tag.

Thank you!
