steps to learn ruby?

I started to learn ruby on rails in treehouse, the courses here are randomly arranged and don't know which course to start from to be a good programmer and developer? can anybody tell the step by step courses to learn quickly and effectively?

The Library has a Ruby on Rails Track that you should probably follow. They order the courses in order so people can learn the language they want to learn in the best order.
