String Length Task 1/1

Create a new function named just_right that takes a single argument, a string. If the length of the string is less than five characters, return "Your string is too short". If the string is longer than five characters, return "Your string is too long". Otherwise, just return True.

Can someone see where I went wrong?

strlen.py
def just_right(str):
    if len(str) < 5:
        print("Your string is too short.")
    elif len(str) > 5:
        print("Your string is too long.")
    else:
        return True

You are printing the strings, the challenge specifically states that you are meant to return the strings. So just change the print statements to return like this:

def just_right(str):
    if len(str) < 5:
        return("Your string is too short.")
    elif len(str) > 5:
        return("Your string is too long.")
    else:
        return True

And you will be able to pass the challenge.
