Strings challenge 3 of 3 - This challenge makes no sense...

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" sundaes=available.split(';') menu="Our available flavors are: {}.".format(available)

^ I suppose i don't understand this .join() because i cannot make it work?

Does this not make more sense... >

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" display_menu="Our available flavors are: {}".format(available.replace(';',', '))

  1. You need

    sundaes = available.split(";")

    otherwise it will say task 1 no longer working....

  2. You must use .join() in this task, that's what they require you to have, in-order to apply what you just learn. .replace() is ok but not in here.

here is my code

available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ".join(sundaes))
