826 PointsStuck at task 3 of 3 challenge splitting and joining
Hi I am stuck at task 3 of 3 challenge (splitting and joining). It seems to be all correct until the 3rd line: available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white" sundaes = available.split(';') menu = "Our available flavors are {}".format(sundaes) . Any thoughts on how to proceed from display_menu onwards? Thanks a million, Christian
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are {}".format(sundaes)
display_menu = sundaes +', '.join(sundaes)
menu = "Our available flavors are {}".format(display_menu)

11,393 PointsHi Christian!
at the display_menu variable you don't need the first sundaes variable you used. So it would be;
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
Also, you don`t need to declare the menu variable twice. Just move it down your code. So the final code would look something like this:
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(";")
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu)
