Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Lists Removing items from a list

Stuck on challenge that works perfectly in shell...

....

lists.py
messy_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]

# Your code goes below here
messy_list.insert(0, messy_list.pop(3))
del messy_list[-1]
messy_list.remove("a")
messy_list.remove("False")

Hi there,

False isn't a string, so remove the "".

Steve.

Thanks!

No problem! :+1:

I just passed with this - is there a difference?

messy_list.insert(0, messy_list.pop(3))
del messy_list[-1]
messy_list.remove("a")
messy_list.remove(False)

No, that's identical - suggest refreshing and trying again! [EDIT:] Your code vanished!

i had to redo the entire challenge then it worked. I appreciate your quick replies :D

The challenges sometimes get themselves in a muddle so a refresh often helps.
