stuck on coding challenge

states = ['ACTIVE', ['red', 'green', 'blue'], 'CANCELLED', 'FINISHED', 5, ] states.remove(5) print(states)

not sure why this is not working

lists.py
states = ['ACTIVE',['red', 'green', 'blue'],'CANCELLED','FINISHED',5,]
states.remove(5)
print(states)

The error message sounds like it occurred due to the flattening (one lining) of the states list. Your code is fine, so perhaps just restart and don't touch the starting list.
