JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Making Decisions with Conditional Statements Introducing Conditional Statements

Stuck on conditional JS code challenge BUT everything looks ok to me.

Hey Kevin,

The question wants to make sure that you are just looking for 'JavaScript' and not the fully uppercase version. Try writing a conditional that specifically looks for the string 'JavaScript' (with the two capital letters) and see how that goes.

Thanks David, I'll give that a try.. the video i was watching suggested I used the toUpperCase() method to ensure the user input returned was all uppercase so my conditional would return true (in the event they typed "javascript" or a mix match of casings.

Ok, got it :) thanks David! not sure why i was putting in the uppercase method in. saw it in the vid but the challenge didn't require it. that was the issue :)
