So I have been able to get the a tag href value as you can see below, but a bit stuck on how to update it.
let inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName').value;
let url = document.querySelector('a').href;
alert (url);
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>DOM Manipulation</title>
</head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
<body>
<div id="content">
<label>Link Name:</label>
<input type="text" id="linkName">
<a id="link" href="https://teamtreehouse.com"></a>
</div>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

Your selector for the element is good, but since it is the element's text that you want to assign it should be on the left side of the assignment operator ("=").
Also, it's not the href attribute you want to access but the textContent.
Finally, the value you want to assign to it (the right side) is that inputValue you got on the first line.
