iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Functional Programming in C Functions

Stuck on this basic function test question!

Hey guys,

Slowly getting the hang of Objective-C but can't seem to get my head around this question, I'm sure it's only something basic I'm missing - Is there a way to preview the correct code answers on test questions?

Question: Implement a function named "addTwo" that returns the sum of two floats. The function will accept two float numbers as arguments. It should add the two arguments together, and return the result. (No need to write the main function. Just write out the implementation for the addTwo function.)

My Answer:

float addTwo() {

    float purple = 4.55;
    float red = 4.55;

    float addTwo("%f + %f", purple, red);

    return addTwo();

}

I may have miss understood the question! Thanks for your help.

Ok I seem to have answered my own question referencing back to the video -

Answer:

float addTwo(float red, float purple);

float addTwo(float red, float purple) {

    return red + purple;

}

I think I was creating a long winded version of what was being asked for!

Thank you very much i made almost the same mistake here too ;)
