Super Conditional Challenge

My code displays the desired answer but I'm still getting a "Bummer!" Any assistance would be appreciated. Something's wrong with this script. The value in the variable money is only 9. But if you preview this script you'll see the "Time to go to the theater" message. Fix this script so that it correctly tests the money and today variables and prints out the proper alert message: "It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out"

Just a side-note, don't forget your semi-colons at the end of a statement, JavaScript can be too forgiving sometimes and it'll get you into trouble :)

You've got it right technically but the challenge is very picky. Remove the period(.) at the end of "It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out."

I finally got it to work. I left the statements alone. I changed the || to && to make them and instead of or. Then I added I changed the Friday to === and added the money === 9. Thanks for the help.

I just did this and I used less than 10 for the money and Friday, otherwise 87654321 would provide the last alert... I am guessing. so:

var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

I think either one works. Changing or to and was the key. It's crazy how JavaScript can be flexible and picky at the same time.
