Switch Statement Quiz

Am in my first quiz in a switch statement. Am supposed to change an if statement to a switch statement and leave the current message as default. But I get an error "I did not see a correct default message'

Below is my code. It works fine in the works space but I get $bumber in the Quiz section

<?php if (!isset($role)) { $role = 'subscriber'; }

//change to switch statement switch ($role != 'admin') {
case 'admin' ; $messageBody = "As an admin, you can add, edit, or delete any post"; break; case 'Subscriber' ; $messageBox = "As a subscriber, you can only view post" ; break ; default: $messageBody = "You do not have access to this page. Please contact your administrator."; break; } ?>

Hi Mohammed, did you solve this? I noticed that you have used a combination of semi colons and colons in your switch statement - whilst technically valid I wondered if the quiz is expecting a semi colon for your default statement?
