syntax error missing and end statement.

I am getting a syntax error for this. it says it expects an end. what am I missing please?

ruby.rb 
def check_speed(car_speed)
  # write your code here
  if car_speed >= 40 && car_speed <= 50
    return "safe"
  end

Creation of method and an if statement needs an end for both.

I forgot to end the if statement. all good.
