I know this is probably super simple, but I just can't understand why this piece of code is wrong?

script.js
function max(number1, number2){
  if (number1>number2){
  return number1;
  } else (return number2);
}

Don't put your second return statement inside parentheses. You can put it inside curly braces like this:

function max(number1, number2){
  if (number1>number2){
  return number1;
  } else {
    return number2;
  }
}
