Stuck on this challenge. Here's my code:

var isAdmin = false; var isStudent = false;

if ( isAdmin === true ) { alert('Welcome administrator'); } else if (isStudent === true) { alert('Welcome student'); } else (isAdmin === false){ alert('Who are you?'); } else (isAdmin === false){ alert('Who are you?'); }

script.js
var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = false;

if ( isAdmin === true ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if (isStudent === true) {
    alert('Welcome student');
} else (isAdmin === false){
    alert('Who are you?');
} else (isAdmin === false){
    alert('Who are you?');
}

Only the if in an if/else statement evaluates something. The code should be:

if (*is this true?*){*code if it is true*}
else if (*is this second thing true since the first isn't?*){*code if it is true*}
else {*code here that should run if everything else is false.*}

What you need to have is:

var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = false;
if ( isAdmin === true ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if (isStudent === true) {
    alert('Welcome student');
} else {/*The code has already evaluated isAdmin===false && isStudent === false*/
    alert('Who are you?');
}

Brilliant, thanks for the prompt response.
