JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Making Decisions with Conditional Statements Introducing Conditional Statements

Task 1 Failing when addition of if conditional is added to question 2.

I added the if conditional to the code, and it seems to be running the if conditional immediately after the prompt for the answer, causing a Null on answer. However, the prompt does comes up and allows an input, which then returns the alert with the correct message, but I am not able to continue. Is there a way to wait for the answer value to be set before running the conditional?

app.js
var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?');
if (answer.toLowerCase() === 'javascript') {
  alert('You are correct!');
}

It should be JavaScript not 'javascript'.
