3,493 PointsTask 1 is no longer passing. Not sure why
I'm adding the newParagraph element to contentDiv but just getting 'task 1 is no longer passing' Also tried reading the p elements within the new panel class into a variable called para and using contentDiv.appendChild(para); with the same result
Can someone show me where I'm going wrong?
const contentDiv = document.getElementById("content");
let newParagraph = document.createElement("p");
newParagraph.className = "panel";
let para = getElementsByTagName("panel p");
contentDiv.appendChild(newParagraph);

17,357 PointsPlease notice that you already declared
const contentDiv = document.getElementById("content");
So you should use it in order to append your newParagraph -
contentDiv.appendChild(newParagraph);

28,430 PointsI think you've got too much code there.
I tried the challenge with out the "let para = ...." declaration and it passes just fine
