When you use the prompt() function, you want to immediately set that to a variable since the return value of prompt() is whatever value the user enters. Basically, you just need to consolidate your Javascript into 1 line that looks like this:
var answer = prompt("What day is it?");
Whatever the user inputs will be stored inside of the answer variable and then you can use it throughout your script.
Hope this helps.
