7,981 PointsThank you for this course.
It's not a question, I just wanted to say that while I created a few codepens using APIs successfully and read about AJAX in a couple of books, I never saw it better explained than in this course before. Just with the last stage I learned how to simulate a web server with MAMP and successfully use AJAX to get a piece of html that I had stored, and I knew exactly what was happening. Never before it felt so gratifying to see an HTML line just appear there and I had my arms up in the air so thanks.

Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Graduate 37,838 PointsI agree completely. Dave's JavaScript courses are some of the best on the internet. Just because somebody is a good programmer does not make them a good teacher (which is unfortunately evident with some of the other Treehouse JavaScript courses).
Dave has the rare ability of breaking down complex concepts into plain English at a very comfortable pace. Guil is another Treehouse instructor I'd like to see more JavaScript courses from.
I agree completely with Leigh Maher 's comment. I've had to supplement my Treehouse experience using other resources - free and paid - when it comes to jQuery, Node, and Angular.

21,830 PointsCompletely agree with this. I wish Dave McFarland taught more of the JavaScript courses. I find the teaching method on most of the JavaScript courses on Tree House very difficult to follow, and usually have to go to other video training sources outside of Tree House.
