1,828 PointsThe example states the function should reverse evens in a list
EX: with d = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] as the input, the function would return [5, 3, 1]
d[-1::-2] returns [5,3,1] why it is marked as a wrong answer?
def first_4(a):
return a[:4]
def first_and_last_4(b):
return b[:4] + b[-4:]
def odds(c):
return c[1::2]
def reverse_evens(d):
return d[-1::-2]

6,005 Pointsthe challenge is not broken. the question is about the index of the string or list... so if the last index is not even your code does not work. But if the last index is odd? Try an if statement or just play whit slice/slice
