The floats inside the <footer> caused its height to collapse. Give the <footer> element the class that will clear all floats inside it.

I added clearfix to the container in my html but for some reason I cant pass the test. :(

Add the clearfix to the footer

the clearfix class goes on the parent element of floated elements, you were applying it to the div class which has no floated elements
