the highlighting feature is not working properly in workspaces, nor is the mouse hopping to where I click in the program

Simply, the cursor won't go where I click, nor will it allow me to highlight sections I need to, Instead it highlights other sections- making it basically impossible to follow the work in the video. Never had this problem in other programs. WTF????

Hi, Michael. I just opened up the Workspace for that particular lesson and I had no problems highlighting or moving the cursor around. It sounds like a key is stuck on your keyboard or something else hardware related. Are you only having problems with Workspaces?

Yes, other programs are not having any issue with highlighting, zooming, or moving the cursor.

Also, workspaces functions differently within the exercises in that it doesn't finish/close the line of code I open- which I actually prefer at this point. The auto-closing makes correcting stuff more confusing. It's a little crazy-making- like autocorrect on an iphone. Also, another difference in funcionality of the 2 workspaces is the red highlights that appear in the non-exersize version seemingly to point out that something is amiss- but not specific as to what exactly went wrong. Is there a "code", or some way to interpret the red highlight thing?

The editor in the challenges is purposefully set up that way so that you are writing the code yourself without relying on autocomplete, so that's why it functions that way. As for what's happening in Workspaces, I'm not quite sure what's going on. You might want to send off an email to support to see if they can check it out for you.

Yes, did that last week. Would it be a problem of using a 2nd monitor possibly?
