Hi Vincent,

An error 500 would imply there is something wrong on the server side, have you looked in the server logs within MAMP?

If you open up terminal and type:

tail -n 20 /Applications/MAMP/logs/php_error.log

This may give you some clue as to what is going on.

Hope this helps, happy coding :octopus:

Hello Kieran,

How would you run this in the cmd prompt in windows?

Thank you Kieran, it says [21-Jun-2016 10:27:48 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'function' (T_FUNCTION) in /Applications/MAMP_2016-06-20_14-35-00/Localhost/leleuxportfolio/wp-content/themes/leleux2-portfolio/functions.php on line 3

Could be just a syntax error, if other themes are working in your wordpress installation.

Could you post your code for us so we can help debug? :-)

it is working now, it was just a syntax in the opening php code <? php instead of <?php
I learned something, thank you for your support.

Glad its sorted for you Vincent
