The Portfolio list items should link to "index.html".

Is this a bug issue or is something wrong with my code?

Your closing tags should go after the text and before the LI

So when you open your tag

 <a href="about.html"> 

that is where your link starts. Now you want to wrap what you want linked in that. You do this by closing your a(anchor, or link) tag with a

 </a>

Here is what you have

<li><a href="index.html"></a>Portfolio</li>

You are closing your tag without wrapping your text in it.

It should be

<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
