The prompt doesn't pop-up any screen in my Google Chrome

When I copy paste the code from the teacher's code there is nothing happening. The prompt statement doesn; pop-up a screen. Does anyone know what this could be?

As @AbubakrAlhaj as said it be nice if we see the code and also, did you make sure your browser isn't stopping websites from displaying pop-ups??

You should probably start by checking your Console, to see if you are getting an error, warning, etc. Open "Developer Tools" and then look in the "Console" tab for messages.
