PHP Object-Oriented PHP Basics (Retired) Properties and Methods Mid-Course Challenge

The question asks for $common_name in some steps and $name in others. It makes it almost impossible to continue.

Can someone take a look at that challenge. Some of the tasks seems to be conflicting, or i'm just totally lost/

fish.php
<?php

class Fish
{
public $common_name;
public $flavor;
public $record_weight;

  function __construct($name, $flavor, $record) {
    $this->name = $common_name;
    $this->flavor = $flavor;
    $this->record_weight = $record;
  }

}

?>

Hello,

Rather than this:

 $this->name = $common_name;

It should be this:

 $this->common_name = $name;

In the constructor function you want to set the member variable to the passed argument. The member variable is $common_name and the passed argument is in $name.

Thanks Kristian, i finally understood what I was doing wrong.
