Hello, team treehouse says stupidly: step one is no longer working. This is a bug of a treehouse, but you have a misstake in app.js on the bottom of the file.

myList.removeChild ('firstListItem');

This does not work because you do not have an element named firstListItem. You have a variable with name firstListItem. So if you have to delete the single quotes. Than you will pass this challenge. And the code must look like this:

myList.removeChild (firstListItem);

Was it helpful fo you?

yes it was. thank you!
