6,218 PointsThe "sudo adduser" appears to be throwing an error of "sudo: adduser: command not found". What might be the issue?
I did not execute the first command as I believed it was specific to the treehouse console.

Java Web Development Techdegree Graduate 22,175 PointsThere is no "adduser" command in Mac. If you need to create user from Terminal in Mac, check these Stack discussions, they look good ( but I didn't try them ):

6,693 PointsIf you want to use a linux terminal seperate from your treehouse, I have used cloud 9. Also digital ocean is an option. These services give you a linux virtual machine with a console. Cloud 9 runs ubuntu linux, while digital ocean gives you a choice of many OS to choose from. Cloud 9 also comes with an IDE and a lot of other developer tools.

If you're on some other system, that may not be an available command.
